Monsoon Season

Up until yesterday it had been raining all day, everyday for 2 whole weeks! Actually- that's not exaclty true- there was a small break in the rain on Sunday. I never knew it could rain for so long, so hard. The Han River has reached it's max and spilled onto one of the major highways that runs beside it, people have been missing, and the whole country is flooding. If only we had access to a raft for boating! It's been seriously RAINING! We even got a "rain day" a couple of weeks ago! Apparently, one of our school buses became submerged in a puddle of water and had to get towed out! Keith and I have decided it's easier for buses to get stuck in water when the bus drivers haven't been paid for 2 months:) After the bus was rescued, it was decided that it was too dangerous to stay open. Sink wholes are all over our city and even statues are falling due to the lack of support beneath them. BUT, as of yesterday, the rain streak has ended:):):) We're planning to go climbing this weekend and as of now, there's only a 20% chance of rain! It'll be the first time we've been able to go outside and play in 2 weeks! I can't wait. Especially since monsoon season is followed by typhoon season. Supposedly it's worse.
